After an exquisite breakfast in Abraspungo the expedition to the Cubillines begins, a complex of 4 snow capped mountains of unique beauty. Very early in the morning we arrive at the area of Chambo, one of the most important agricultural and cattle farming regions of Chimborazo and Ecuador. At the Hacienda Cubillin we can visit the cheese factory, experience up close the fighting bulls in their natural habitat and enjoy a snack in the countryside.

Once we are well attired with ponchos and typical zamarros of the region we mount horses rode daily by the chagras (local cowboys) of the area. Heading southeast we horseback ride for approximately 3 hours, along the way and arriving at the foothills of the snow topped peaks we experience the typical Ecuadorian paramos, as well as the unique flora and fauna of this habitat.
